[So. You know who's in the pub trying to grab several bottles of alcohol and save them before the reset? This guy right here.

But he's out there and being obvious, so it's easy to come across him in there. Come say hi.]

[ Well. Considering the obvious connection between the execution participants and this guy? Hua Cheng can't say he blames him, as he comes into the pub for that last check of everything.

He pauses, but then huffs a dry laugh before coming in proper. ]

Someone had the right idea, at least.

We can't let all the booze go to waste. I get the feeling we're gonna need more of it later on.

[He'll slide a bottle across the bar, in Hua Cheng's general direction. It will stop before sliding off, and it just sits there, waiting to be picked up.]

Xie Lian offered to give me some, but I can't be taking all of his stash.

[supremity]

Gege doesn't drink, so it's likely he just took it for others to have.

[ The answer is immediate, and he comes over to pick up the bottle from where it sits on the counter. It gets a glance over, and then he tucks it under his arm, going to come around to assess the rest of the collection. ]

The fact we've made it a few weeks in with only the little gift bottles is actually fairly impressive.

We just haven't hit the tough times yet, is all. Or the parties. I'm surprised that Xie Lian doesn't drink, though. Is he one of those 'pure monk' types?

[He already knows XL is a god at this point, but he's being respectful of his privacy by not saying it to anyone.]

We also have a number of people I don't imagine drink often. [ What's a drinking age in ancient China. But even then, some of them... ] His cultivation path doesn't allow for drinking, so in a manner of speaking, yes.

Well yeah, the kids don't, but he's not exactly a kid.

[He saw the age on that profile.]

But oh well, that's more for the rest of us.

[supremity]

[ A beat. ] I'd say it's more their nature than the fact they're children. I couldn't imagine Sora or Hikaru drinking, but even from knowing her in passing it wouldn't surprised me if Clementine could hold her own.

[ And he's taking Xie Lian's drinking habits off the table, because there's more to it than that. ]

But no one will be able to drink if we run out, so. [ Grabbing another few bottles. ]

Clementine's more of a mini-adult anyway. She's a bit more pessimistic than the others.

[He has not gotten Zombie Lore yet, but she has talked like a mini-adult every time he has spoken to her. So.]

Right, we don't need sober parties. I'm still upset that I missed 'never have I ever'.

[supremity]

Certainly less optimistic than the others. [ And their shining shoujo/shounen hope. ] But to call her a mini-adult doesn't sound that far off-base.

[ A... beat, as he goes from looking at a bottle label to Shiro. ]

Oh, is that what they were doing? I suspect a majority would have to curfew together to make it particularly interesting.

Yeah, it was. You wanna play, if we have a game of it this upcoming week?

[he is absolutely going to grab some older people for it so they can be raunchy af with their answers without scarring the pure of heart like Mob and Hikaru.]

I wouldn't be against it. 800 years results in a particularly interesting list of things for those kinds of games.

[ It's on his profile, so Hua Cheng has just been owning the fact he was doxxed by the Realm casually. Besides, if it benefits him for funsies... ]

[Shiro perks up here. He is considering all of the card games they can play.]

En, I'm a fan, and my luck is rather good for many games. My city is well known for the Gambler's Den therein - immortals and mortals alike come to place bets there.

It sounds like quite the place, I'd love to see it. I don't gamble too much anymore, but I used to do it a lot more in my youth.
