Week 2, Monday

[It's a new Monday, and that means a new roommate!

It also means hammock beds, apparently, because what even is this setting change. Shiro is going to be grumpy as he rolls out of the bed.]

Are they trying to give everyone motion sickness or something?

[He does not look motion sick at least? Maybe he's just complaining to complain.]

[uhhhmagic]

[Taako actually appears . . . quite comfortable. One of his legs is sticking out of the hammock, swinging and relaxed.]

Oh? Not used to ships?

[lionson]

Not one bit. I use trains for travel mostly, not boats.

[Boy Taako sure looks comfortable in it!]

I'm guessing you are used to it then?

[uhhhmagic]

Sure, sure. Ships, space or water, trains, carriage, glass cannonball, battlewagon, you name it, I've ridden it.

[phrasing.]

[Phrasing, Taako.]

Glass cannonball, huh? That's not one I expected to hear.

[uhhhmagic]

No? They launched them from the moon.

[That doesn't make any more sense.]

Any, point is, what do you think next week's gonna be? Maybe, uh, Fantasy California . . .

[lionson]

I'd settle for real California, have you seen the beaches there? It wouldn't be a complete adventure if we didn't get the chance to go to the beach.

Week 2, post-trial

[lionson]

[Shiro will be out for most of the evening, running around doing whatever he's up to. But eventually he will make it back to the room for the night, and he's commandeering the shower for at least an hour, if not longer.

Taako is free to yell at him through the door, or wait for him to get out of the shower first.]

[uhhhmagic]

[Taako . . . doesn't care enough to yell through the door. Unless he also wants a shower, but. Eh. Just laying on his bed, a bottle of, apparently, whiskey balanced on his chest until whenever Shiro decides to get out.]

[lionson]

[He does come out eventually, showered and changed, and he's drying his hair with a towel as he glances over at Taako.]

Booze from the pub?

[Of course that's the first thing he noticed.]

[uhhhmagic]

Ding ding ding.

[He doesn't . . . offer any.]

You. Uh.

[He's not very good at Comforting words.]

Hm.

[lionson]

[Yeah, Shiro gets that feeling.]

It's alright, you don't have to try any platitudes. I've had some time to think over everything already.

[He won't ask for booze since it wasn't offered, though.]

[uhhhmagic]

Mm? And? Your conclusion?

[Taako sits up at least, tapping his nails on the bottle.]

[lionson]

My conclusion is that everything sucks, and as much as I'd love to just forget everything about this day, memory loss is actually the problem and not the solution.
