Actually he's gone out to the gun range to shoot for a bit. Come shoot cans off the fence with him, Sharon. He's using a rifle for that tonight.]

[SHE ACTUALLY. . . DOESN'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT GUNS. at least not gunpowder guns. the only ones she really has any experience with are orbal firearms, and even then her weapon of choice is a dagger and sharp wires]

[but she does watch Shiro for quite some time, hands folded neatly in front of herself as can after can tips off of the fence. and after a while. . .]

Thanks, I do try to keep it sharp. It's been a few weeks since I last shot though, so I'm still a little off.

[He's hitting the outer edges of the cans and knocking them off in random directions, which counts as 'off' for him.]

The firearms in Zemuria are powered by orbal arts. Ah-- that is, they're powered by "magic" only.

They don't utilize bullets or gunpowder.

[except the special guns from a certain country which are still a mystery to her]

So they shoot magic? That's pretty neat. Do they have much of a recoil?

[He's asking because the recoil of a rifle can be a shock for someone not used to it.]

Of course. I can't say I know much about gunpowder, but orbal arts can be rather explosive if used correctly.

[so yeah, she's probably just fine when it comes to recoil]

Gunpowder is the oomph without the magic, so if you're used to it then it should be fine.
